No one that is supposedly cleaning this cabin could miss these issues. These issues are not something that was accidentally overlooked. The inside walls show signs of water leaking down the walls. This cabin has been neglected for far too long. I have never left a negative review this lengthy before. No grass here, only bare dirt surrounding the cabin. There is absolutely no view from this cabin and the back side is backed up to the maintenance area. We chose not to use the hot tub due to the condition of the area and adjoining utility closet, which was filthy. The floor of this room was covered in muddy footprints when we arrived. The ceiling tile is stained and sagging and the bathroom had an odor and couldn't be used.
The pool table is very, very worn and dilapidated. The basement was also a disaster The jukebox does not work and from reading the guest book it never has. The view from the porch was of a metal drain tile and the back of the neighbors cabin and steps. The screened in porch was not usable due to the metal roof sweating and it "raining" inside. My wife took a wipe from her purse and scrubbed the grout on the floor and it was supposed to be white too. I began to notice that the same tile was on the lower wall but the grout was white. You will notice the brown grout on the floor in the pictures. The wall tile had been Spray painted black, including the outlets and switches and it was peeling off. There is a claw foot tub in the dimly lit bathroom that continually dripped and was not clean.

The TV in the room is smaller than a computer monitor and is not connected to the channels that the rest of the cabin is on. When I turned on the light, it revealed that there was solid dust stuck to the walls. Upon closer examination, there was meat left below the burners. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was that the burner pans on the stove were covered in foil. The cabin looks to be decorated with rummage sale items, with the exception of the dining room table. The problems with this cabin are primarily caused by neglect and not cleaning. I have already read from previous reviews that the standard response will be that we didn't notify them of problems that they could fix.
I tried to see the good side of this cabin but there is none. We stayed here this past week with friends who had booked the cabin. We can never say enough good things about Hidden Mountain! We won’t stay anywhere else on a Smoky Mountain Vacation! More Show less The space on the lower level is perfect for the kids to play around in before the grownups wake up. There’s a pool table, foosball, and a mini arcade barrel. The rooms with more beds are in the basement and the set up in the basement is perfect for kids of all ages. Hidden Mountain is always clean, but this cabin is especially spotless. Each bedroom has its own bathroom attached to it, which again, just makes life easier for multiple families.

Each level has a full porch! So no matter what level your room is on, you get some outdoor space with beautiful views. Some of our favorite highlights are: - the double porch. The cabin is big enough that we are never in each others hair and has cozy common spaces for us to gather together. We have 4 families staying in the cabin and it’s the perfect size.
The pictures of it online do not do it justice! This cabin is PERFECT for multiple families under one roof. We have been staying at Hidden Mountain Resort for years and every time we stay it does not disappoint! This year we stayed in one of the newer cabins: Cabin #4203, Beyond the Sunset.
